The UK Finance Department is responsible for all the financial activities of i2’s UK based operations, in particular planning, forecasting, reporting and all statutory requirements. In addition the UK payroll is within the remit of the Department.
Finance are also responsible for the inventory of all stock items including the security devices and undertake the worldwide dispatch of products to our customers and distributors.
Main Function of Job
The job holder has responsibility for all monthly, quarterly and annual financial reconciliations for internal and external reporting requirements for the UK only. They will also be responsible for regular and adhoc reporting requirements and ensuring frontline compliance with all relevant accounting policies and statutory regulations. (Note: In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder is required to perform other duties assigned by the manager from time to time.)
Main Duties/Responsibilities
These include:
Maintenance of the UK general ledger to trial balance (to include full balance sheet reconciliation)
- Cashflow forecasting, weekly, monthly and adhoc
- Production of weekly and monthly management reports working to tight deadlines
- Issue budget reports to line managers, present reports and deal with related queries on a regular basis
- Ensuring compliance with revenue recognition policies
- Compliance with accounting policies as defined by US GAAP and Sarbox
- Preparing statutory accounts and managing the audit process
- Involvement in the planning, forecasting, reporting and all statutory requirements within the finance department
- Assist in ensuring the Finance team meet all regular internal and external deadlines by contributing to the efficient running of the department.
Essential
- Experience of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reconciliations.
- Experience of analysing and interpreting financial information
- Extensive experience with and fully competent in the use of Excel.
- Familiarity with preparing statutory accounts and management of audit process.
- IT literate with demonstrable experience of all other elements of the MS office suite.
- Technical experience of delivering robust financial advice in a commercial environment
- Experience of analysing, interpreting and presenting financial information to a wide ranging audience including non financial Managers.
- Experience of operating computer accounting systems e.g. Sage
- Experience of assisting in the preparation of monthly forecasts.
- Having previously worked in the software industry.
- Knowledge and experience of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

Administrative Support – Product Services

The Product Services Department is a customer facing group involved in products from definition to support. Product Services encompasses first and second-line customer support, localisation and administrative functions.
Main Function of Job
The job holders role includes handling organisation of i2 product manufacture, which is done by external companies. The role also includes ordering external software, detailed involvement in the extensive software auditing project and general administrative duties for technical staff. The job holder is also required to assist the localisation team with a range of administrative tasks. (Note: In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder is required to perform other duties assigned by the supervisor/manager from time to time.)
The job holder is required to undertake reception duties (09.00 to 10.00 and 5.00 to 5.30 daily and shared lunch cover, morning & afternoon breaks) to assist the full- time receptionist in providing a professional front desk service to all visitors and telephone callers to i2.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
These include:
Detailed involvement in software audit project
- Order external software, and keep record of i2's in-house software application usage by recording licence numbers and users
- File all existing paperwork for external software
- Enter all information gathered on external software into SLAMM
- Rationalise the paperwork with the SLAMM records
- Assist in regular software audits
- Managing software media
- Software maintenance tracking and update
- Maintaining MSDN Library and MSDN subscription
Media and Documentation procurement
- Liaising with Product Managers to co ordinate product manufacturing
- Raising purchase orders for printers and CD manufacturers
- Co-ordinating with Marketing and external graphics designers to source artwork film for CDs and Manual covers
- Proofing prints (just looking for obvious errors)
- Assembling master CDs and artwork and shipping to manufacturers
- Progressing orders
- Supply of master material to i2 Inc.
- Ad hoc procurement (CD-R, courses, books etc).
Distribution management
- Producing shipping lists (pick lists or Bill of Materials)
- Managing stock levels
- Reordering when stock levels decline
- Forecasting when stock levels will be exhausted so that new stock can be ordered (and annual budgets can be set)
Localisation activities
- Raising, managing and filing quotes and purchase orders for localisation work
- Assist in management of the ftp site for localised file transfer
- Managing past number allocation for localised products
General administration duties for technical staff
- Organising and booking hotel and travel arrangements
- Organising courses
- Archiving i2 products
Reception
- Answering calls/directing calls/ taking messages using INDEX NOCpro switchboard
- Meet and greet all of i2’s visitors (ensuring interview candidates have their passport application form and signed NDA)
- Issuing/ receiving building passes to new starters, leavers, visitors, contractors and cleaning staff for the site
- Sorting, opening and distribution of incoming mail and preparation of outgoing mail
- Arranging taxi’s and couriers
- Dealing with deliveries
- Booking of meeting rooms
- Responsible for the general appearance of reception
Skills required to perform the job
The role requires the following skills and experiences:
- Competent user of Windows based software eg (some of) Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Framemaker, Abobe Acrobat and Paint Shop Pro

Commercial Contracts Manager
Introduction to Position
The Commercial Contracts Manager is responsible for providing timely advice and guidance in respect of legal risk assessment, the financial viability and exposure to risk for i2 Limited relating to commercial contracts, which fall outside of the i2 Limited End User Agreement framework.
Main Function of Job
The provision of general legal contractual advice, predominately, relating to the commercial activities of the Direct and Channel Sales Teams. To work with Senior Product Managers to advise and define licence terms and conditions for new product lines.
The Commercial Contracts Manager will report to the SVP Human Resources and will work with external UK and US legal counsel as appropriate.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
- To review and assess both existing and new commercial contract terms and conditions in order to reduce risk and commercial exposure to i2 Limited
- Draft new commercial contract terms and conditions as necessary and maintain existing contracts
- Negotiate contract changes and variations as appropriate
- Advise and define licence terms for new product lines
- Work on strategy and activities relating to bid and procurement
- Assume point of contact to our external legal advisors for contract, trademark and IP issuesending contracts as well as reviewing commercial terms and conditions of contracts
Skills and Experience
