The Development Kits available are: i2 Analyst’s Notebook 7 SDK i2 Analyst’s Notebook 7 SDK provides systems integrators and in-house developers with the software tools and support materials needed to: • Enhance and extend the functionality of Analyst’s Notebook. • Integrate Analyst’s Notebook with existing systems and applications. • Create custom standalone applications which leverage the analytical capabilities of Analyst’s Notebook. Using the Analyst’s Notebook API (application program interface) you can extend and build on Analyst’s Notebook. It enables you to seamlessly integrate Analyst’s Notebook with other applications and make your own custom analysis tools that complement and extend the powerful capabilities of Analyst’s Notebook. i2 TextChart 3 SDK i2 TextChart 3 SDK provides systems integrators and in-house developers with the software, documentation and support materials required to extend and enhance the functionality of TextChart. • Utilize content from other applications, such as automatic entity extraction tools or document repositories, and transfer it directly to TextChart for markup and visualization. • Feed TextChart output directly to 3rd party databases. By using TextChart SDK, developers can implement solutions that support investigative workflow procedures specific to their organization’s needs. i2 iXv SDK 7 i2 iXv SDK 7 enables organizations to integrate Web-based visualization into their existing data sources. Search results can then be visualized in a chart format, displaying entities of interest and the connections between them using i2 iXv Viewer. With iXv SDK you can: • Deploy browser-based visualization to thousands of users instantly. • Quickly view search results in a visual format and discover relationships, trends and connections hidden within the data. • Drill-down and explore the information source visually. • Drag-and-drop iXv visualizations into Analyst’s Notebook and combine them with data from other sources for advanced analysis. iXv SDK provides development support tools and documentation to quickly deploy i2’s visualization technology. It is designed to be server platform and operating system independent, so it can be deployed within your existing server environment and integrated with your existing business logic. This means current mechanisms such as search, login and deployment technologies remain intact. This approach adds minimal impact to previous IT decisions. i2 iXa Web Services SDK 2 i2 iXa Web Services SDK 2 provides secure access to multiple data sources - regardless of type or location - across heterogeneous IT environments. It enables Analyst’s Notebook users to connect to and search a range of data sources via a single query across local or global networks. iXa Web Services SDK includes: • iXa Web Services Framework comprised of Java components that provide out of the box Web service functionality. • A complete iXa deployment example including a fully functioning Web service that illustrates the architecture, use and behaviour of the components supplied in iXa Web Services Framework. • Sample code to assist with the learning process and a “learn by example” approach. • A comprehensive set of developer guides and resource material. • The Schema Designer tool to help model and add metadata to information so it can be visualized and matched.
