Point Duty

The Point Duty DISCOVERY system provides a means of capturing information about individuals or groups that are undertaking illegal activity on the internet utilizing Peer to Peer networks This activity can include the illegal sharing of copyrighted intellectual property as well as the sharing of illegal files such as child abuse material and terrorist related information. While more advanced and highly complex "anonymous" networks can be difficult to analyze, Point Duty simplifies this analysis as it allows for the searching of these networks by Keyword, Hash-based, and Bit Torrent. This capability can root out IP identity of P2P network players, adding an additional and complementary layer of data for further analysis with i2 solutions.
